Sherrie's Bio
Sherrie has had dogs her entire life and has been training in agility for over 20 years. She has trained with top members of the sport such as Jen Pinder, Mary Ellen Barry, Perry DeWitt, Jessica Ajoux, Soshana Dos, Patty and Stuart Mah just to name a few.
Sherrie is proficient in One Mind Dog principles and has trained with Janita Leinonen, Jaakko Suoknuuti, Tuulia Liuhto, Timo Liuhto, and others. She is also well versed in other handling methods such as Linda Mecklenberg and Greg Derrett and can adapt to the needs of each team.
Sherrie has competed in USDAA and AKC putting 4 ADCHs and 7 MACHs on her Aussies and Border Collies. She has also been very successful nationally over the years. She has been in the final rounds of USDAA Grand Prix and DAM team events with placements. Her DAM team became National Champions. Sherrie has also participated in AKC Nationals and was a finalist. She has participated in AKC World Team tryouts several times and has finished 4th and 7th overall.
Sherrie is currently competing with her Border Collie "Remi" and her Aussie "Kit" in USDAA and AKC.
Sherrie prides herself on her ability to work with many varied breeds in agility as well as creating a consistent and fun training atmosphere.
